Buddhist Pilgrim Tours: Bangladesh
Duration : 4 Nights 5 days
Day-01: Dhaka
Receive from Dhaka Airport. Transfer to Hotel, City Sight Seeing ( if possible)
and Night Halt at Dhaka
Day-02 : Dhaka-Bogra
After breakfast drive to Bogra (200 KM). After Lunch, you have to visit Mohastangarh-the
archeological site, dating from 3rd century BC, which is about 13 KM north of
Bogra, represents the earliest of city site in the whole of Bengal. Its an impressive
fortified city covering about 210,000 squire meters, most of which is still
buried beneath the farmland. The citadel is encircled on three sites by artificial
moats and by the Korotowa Rivere othe fourth. Night Halt at Bogra.
Day-03 : Bogra-Paharpur-Dhaka
After breakfast drive to Paharpur; to visit the famous Buddhist Stupa dating
from 8th Century. Paharpur is about 56 KM from Bogra. It has been identified
from a series of inscribed clay seals as the Samapura Vihara from the great
Pala Dynasty. Its the biggest single Vihara (Image House) south of the Himalayas,
measuring approximately 273 Meters along each site and enclosed by an outer
wall with 177 monastic Cells built into it. In the centre of the 09 Hector courtyards
are the ruins of a mighty temple- which rises to a height of 22 meters an unusual
hillock giving the local village of Paharpur. The temple is cruciform in plan,
built in high quality brick with thousands of Terracotta plaque depicting the
art from of that period, whether, it be religious or secular, human or animal
or mythological or purely an artists whim. Back to Dhaka at late evening and
Night Halt.
Day-04 : DHAKA- MOINAMOTI-DHAKA
Drive to the Archeological camp where the Salbon Vihar and the Museum are located.
Excavated Buddhist remains of 8th/9th century, by King Buddhadev, are dotted
all the way along the north south running Lalmai Moinamoti hill range.
From here the following adjacent sites you may also visit: Ananda Vihar, Charpatra
Mura, Itakhola Mura, Rupban Mura, Kutila Mura and Triratna Stupa. Among these,
the Ananda Vihara, the Charpatra Mura and the Kutila Mura. We will drive back
to Dhaka. On the way back, we will stop at Sonargaon, the oldest city, which
was the capital of Bengal from 13th 17th century for sight Seeing. If our time
permits, we may visit the Folklore museum and the Panam village. Arrival Dhaka
in the evening.

Transfer to Airport and Goodbye
Hill tract Indigenous Culture and Beach Tour
Day-01: DHAKA
Receive Dhaka Airport, Transfer to Hotel
Sight seeing includes Lalbagh Fort, Dhakeshwari Temple, Central Shahid Minar
and Parliament House etc. Night Halt at Dhaka
Day-02 : Dhaka-Chittagong
Dep. Dhaka for Chittagong by Domestic Flight On arrival, transfer to Hotel.
Full day Sight Seeing at Chittagong includes Ship Breaking Yard, Explore this
Historic Port City by painted rickshaw. Visit the goldsmiths alley, Reasuddin
bazaar, colonial architecture and temples, Ethnological Museum, Kadam
Mubarak Mosque, Shahi Jama-e-Majsid, Foy`s Lake, War Cemetery and Sea Beach.
Night Halt at Chittagong
Day 03 : Chittagong-Rangamati-Chittagong
Dep. Chittagong for Rangamati at 07.00 Hrs
Arrive Rangamati at 10.00 Hrs (77 Km)
Visit: Kaptai lake boat trip, Tribal villages around the lake, Tribal
Kings House,
Traditional textile Handloom factory, Tribal handicraft shop etc
Back to Chittagong at Night
Day-04 : Chittagong-Bandarbans
After breakfast, we drive into the Burmese foothills to Bandarban, and casual
sightseeing around this colorful native market town. We'll visit local
Buddhist shrines, a Marma village, the Tribal complex and the Bohmong King's
residence. Afternoon options include Sangu river cruises by country boat, swimming
or strolling along the sandy river beach, a visit to the hanging bridge, waterfalls
and lookout points. Typical evening pastimes are visiting the homes of the locals
(with home-brew for the thirsty), observing tribal cultural festivals and activities
as per season, tea-stall crawling or perhaps just checking out the bazaar. Overnight
in a hillside ecolodge
Day-05 : Bandarban - Tribal Cultures
From Bandarban we take a scenic drive up to Chimbook, this is about a one-hour
drive; the last part is a bit rough. This is a very tiny but interesting small
bazaar on the Shangu river. From here it is an easy walk to an interior Mru
tribal village. Here we settle down to fully enjoy and experience firsthand
the unique, self-sufficient Mru culture. Overnight at Eco-Lodge
Day-06 : Bandaban - Cox's Bazar Beach
A We take leave from Mru hosts, and via Alikadam, we drive to the seaside resort
of Cox's Bazar. After hotel check-in and lunch, we'll take an interesting and
informal tour of the town that has world's longest natural beach. In the evening
we explore the colorful markets and temples. Overnight at hotel
Day-07 : Coxs Bazaar-Chittagong-Dhaka
Departure early morning for Chittagong. Upon arrival at Chittagong, transfer
to Airport catch Flight Z5-102
at 0905 Hrs and Arrive Dhaka 0950 Hrs. Transfer to Hotel and Free for whole
day
Day-08 :
Transfer to Airport and end of Tours.
Tea Garden Tour
Day-01: Dhaka-Srimangal
Leave Dhaka in the early morning by Car/Coach for Srimongal (191 KM: 5 Hrs Journey).
On arrival at Srimongal around at noon, Transfer to the Guest House/ Bungalow,
After lunch, visit Tea plantation, Rubber Garden and Monipuri village. Night
Halt at Srimongal
Day-02 : Srimangal - Sylhet
Srimongal /Lawacherra Forest/Sylhet (Drive) After Break fast, visit the Lawacherra
forest, Tea factory (if it is in operation), Khasia and Monipuri Tribal Village,
and lifestyle And tea workers village. Night Halt at Sylhet
Day-03 : Sylhet-Dhaka
Having breakfast, you may visit Holy Shrines, Madhabpur Lake- surrounded by
Tea plantation and hills. After Lunch drive for Dhaka. Arrive Dhaka at late
evening. Tour Ends.

Day-03 : Alikadam - Chittagong -Dhaka
We take leave of Mru hosts, and via Alikadam, drive to Chittagong. On arrival
at Chittagong, transfer to Chittagong Airport and fly to Dhaka. Tour Ends.
Explore World Heritage Sunderbans
Day-01 :
Leave Dhaka by available domestic flight in the morning for Jessore. On arrival
at Jessore Airport, our representative will receive and transfer you to Khulna
/ Mongla Port by reserved transport. Upon arrival, you will board the waiting
motor boat. Immediately, the boat will start its journey towards Daingmari Forest
Station, very close to Mongla Port, to obtain our forest permit and pay the
fees to the Forest Department. Then it will start cruising into the forest and
lunch will be served. Depending upon the flight time, the tide situation and
weather condition the boat will arrive at Tambulbunia Forest Station or Harintana
Forest Station or Supoti Forest Station for overnight stay. Having all conditions
in favour you might reach Kotka Forest Station our final destination on this
trip by the evening on this day.
Day-02 :
Early morning the boat will resume the cruise and soon arrive Kotka Forest Station.
The accompanied guide will offer you different forest activities like walking
inside the forest, walking on the beach, going inside the narrow creeks with
the help of a small country boat to see the wildlife and birds, playing beach
volleyball and football etc.,
Day-03 :
You will have more forest activities during this day. Late in the afternoon
the boat will turn back and begin the return journey. After cruising for few
hours it will anchor at some forest station on way for overnight stay.
Day-04 :
Again this morning the boat will resume the return journey. You will leave the
boat at Mongla Port or at Khulna around midday or early afternoon depending
upon the return flight time and immediately drive to Jessore airport to take
the domestic flight to Dhaka. We shall let you know the exact time of this flight
at the time of booking. Arrive Dhaka in the late afternoon. Tour ends.
ROCKET STEAMER TRIP
2 Night 3 Days
Day-01:
Leave Dhaka by the Rocket Steamer Service run by Bangladesh Inland Water Transport
Corporation (BIWTC). At present, this service is open for 4 days a week (Saturday,
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) from Dhaka, leaving at 1800 hours. On this
trip, we shell provide first class cabin accommodation on the boat. Each cabin
has twin bed. On this trip, the food is not included, but you can buy food from
the restaurant on the boat. Please note that beer or hard liquor is not available
in the restaurant. Overnight on the Paddle Steamer.
Day-02:
You will spend this whole day on the boat enjoying the riverine beauty and the
country side along the river ways. It arrives Khulna/Mongla in the evenings,
but, at times, it runs late due to fog and tide. On arrival at Khulna/Mongla,
our representative will receive and transfer you to a pre-booked hotel/motel
for overnight.
Day-03:
After an early breakfast, drive to Bagerhat, the Islamic Metropolis for sightseeing.
Here, you will explore on old mosque with a massive structure having sixty domes,
and you will also visit the area including some more mosques. Back to the hotel/motel
for lunch. After lunch, Drive to Jessore airport to take the afternoon flight
back to Dhaka.
Historical Tours: Bangladesh

Day 01: DHAKA
Receive at 1050 Hrs from Dhaka Airport, Transfer to Hotel and Night Halt.
Day 02: DHAKA- DINAJPUR
Leave Dhaka by reserve van for Dinajpur via Jamuna Bridge at 0500 Hrs. Arrive
Dinajpur around 13.00 Hrs.Check in the Hotel. Visit the famous Kanthejees Temple.
This famous terracotta temple is a good example of the mixture of Hindu
and Mughal ( Akbar Region) Architecture. The drive is 30 km long and it
takes approximately one hour from Dinajpur. Visit the Ramsagar- historical lake
(16th Century) at evening and Night Halt.
Day 03: DINAJPUR-BOGRA-NAOGAON-RAJSHAHI
After Breakfast, drive to Paharpur, to visit famous Buddhist Stupa an
archeological site of a 7th Century. This drive will take around 3 Hrs.
After Lunch . visit Mahastangarh, the fort of 12th Century and museum.
Afternoon drive to Rajshahi. On the way you will visit The KUSUMBA MOSQUE
which was built by Mughul at early 16th Century. Arrive Rajshahi at evening
and Night Halt.
Day 04: RAJSHAHI-DHAKA
Drive to Dhaka at 0700 Hrs. On the way, you will visit ancient Hindus Temple
(11th Century) At Puthia (RajShahi District). Arrive Dhaka at noon. In
2nd Half of Day : Dhaka sight seeing includes Lalbagh Fort, Dhakeshwari Temple,
Star Mosque, Old Dhaka City & Ishakhan Fort (Naryangonj)Dhaka
sight seeing. Night Halt at Dhaka.
Day 05: Free till Departure.
Transfer to Airport and goodbye
